The Immortal poem by William Blake "comes alive" in this screensaver written by Steve Henck for the 1994 After Dark Module Contest.
This module requires After Dark 2.0whatever or 3.0 (or other 100% compatible screensaver engine). It probably won't work under "Dark Side of the Mac" because my other one which did color cycling didn't.
This module is free but does not come with any guarantees or warranties expressed or implied. It may not be compatible with every System Extension under the sun. If it doesn't work on your system, let me know what went wrong and I'll try to fix it.
I have noticed that on my system if I have a "Startup Pict" in the system folder and try to run the module first thing after I reboot it reverts to "Starry Nite" and gives a "not enough memory" error. I haven't yet figured out what to do about this. It shouldn't crash though.
CAVIAT: although it will run on smaller monitors, the text will be "squished" and a little hard to read on the "LC" size monitor (and probably the color classic) as well.
HINT: If you have After Dark 3.0, this module makes a nice background for the desktop with "wallzapper".
